High driving dynamics and safety

Latitude Sport 3 is an ultra high performance off-road and summer SUV tyre with sporty performance features such as superb dry grip and superb wet grip.

Designed for use in wet conditions:

A new tread compound and increased cavity ratio provide improved wet grip.

Excellent mileage without compromises in safety, robustness or fuel consumption:

* Compared to its predecessor MICHELIN Latitude Sport, tested by TÜV SÜD 2013 on wet and dry roads (235/65 R17).

10 % increase in service life*
25% reduction in rolling resistance*

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.
RFT: Run-flat technologyReinforced sidewalls can permit limited continued driving after a loss of pressure. The permitted speed and distance depend on the manufacturer; a pressure monitoring system is normally required.

No complaints so far
Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Wear looks even and grip is consistent. Reliable summer rubber. Not the last word in steering feel.

Good all-rounder
Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. They're okay. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Smooth ride
Ride comfort is the standout. Long journeys feel less tiring now. Had these through a full season now. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
