Trusted MICHELIN quality
Bought on price, staying for the quality. The Pilot Alpin 5 punches above its weight. Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Felt secure on icy morning roads.

Quality you can feel
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Reliable winter rubber
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
