Dynamic Response Technology:
A newly developed hybrid belt layer made of a mixture of aramid and nylon enables an optimal steering behaviour. The ultra-reactive tread pattern continuously adapts to the road surface for optimum ground contact area.
Security:
The fine-tuned rubber compound of special functional elastomers and silicas provides excellent wet adhesion and excellent braking properties. Wide and deep longitudinal grooves in the profile ensure particularly good water drainage on wet roads.

All-round good pick
Very quiet on tarmac. The Pilot Sport 4 EMT made my commute noticeably more relaxed. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Handles well
Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Ordered online, fitted locally. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Fair tyre for the money
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Does exactly what a summer tyre should.
