What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Seasonproof C1 genuinely surprised me. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.
