What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Very quiet on tarmac. The Seasonproof C1 made my commute noticeably more relaxed. Bought a full set of Nokian Tyres for the family car. Not the last word in steering feel.

Reliable all-season rubber
Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Wear looks even and grip is consistent. Bought on price, staying for the quality. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Confidence in corners
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate.
