What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Handles well
Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since. Felt secure on icy morning roads.

No complaints so far
Bought on price, staying for the quality. The Snowproof C punches above its weight. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in.

A step up from my old set
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well. Handles standing water better than my previous set. Felt secure on icy morning roads. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Good grip in the wet
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Not the last word in steering feel.

For this price I didn't expect much, but the Snowproof C genuinely surprised me. Ordered online, fitted locally.

Trusted Nokian Tyres quality
Early days, but first impressions are very good. Smooth and quiet. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
