Description

The Nokian WR Snowproof is a masterful combination of Arctic expertise and deep understanding of the Alpine winter. Experience total control, superb winter safety and balanced driving feel in all conditions from snow to slush and wet.

Exceptional combination of first class grip on snow, slush, and wet with predictable and balanced driving feel. This new technology acts like a seat belt in extreme driving situations. The new Nokian WR Snowproof winter tire senses the conditions and helps the driver to stay safe even before the car’s electronic safety systems are activated. In this eco-friendly premium tire, each tread block and sipe has a specific role that, together with the Alpine Grip rubber compound, support safe and comfortable driving. Driving feels balanced and easy even under surprising conditions.

At the heart of the Nokian WR Snowproof is the Alpine Sense Grip technology that allows the tire to adapt to varying winter conditions, always offering safe and predictable driving experience. The tire offers excellent winter grip and control for the most extreme driving situations.

Smooth rolling saves fuel and preserves the environment

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.
