What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.

Smooth ride
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Good balance of comfort and handling.

Quality you can feel
Would recommend to anyone after a dependable all-season tyre without overspending. The car feels more stable in crosswinds since fitting these. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
