Petlas Velox Sport PT741 – for anyone who enjoys speed, performance and comfort
The Velox Sport PT741 is a high-performance tyre designed to deliver speed, comfort and safety. A specially designed tread pattern enables exceptional high-speed performance, outstanding handling and cornering on both dry and wet surfaces. A modern tyre profile and a special tread compound ensure fuel efficiency and durability.
- Minimised road noise and tread noise improve driving comfort through a computer-optimized block arrangement.
- The reinforced and wide shoulder block increases the contact patch and improves dry grip whilst maintaining high cornering stability and manoeuvrability. Prevents asymmetric wear.
- The centre block ensures road contact and delivers stable and balanced handling.
- Rapid and effective water drainage via three circumferential channels.
- High performance on both dry and wet roads thanks to the asymmetrical tread pattern.
- The specially developed outer sidewall ensures better grip on dry and wet roads and increases driving stability thanks to its special groove structure.

Does the job well
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Solid everyday tyre. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Worth the money
My mechanic recommended Petlas and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Fitted before a long road trip.
- Monika F.03/12/20255.0 / 5
No complaints so far
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Wet braking is excellent. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
- Anna F.12/10/20255.0 / 5
Okay for everyday driving
Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too.
- Freja R.21/08/20252.0 / 5
Smooth ride
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
