Description

Cinturato Winter – confident winter grip with everyday comfort

Developed to meet the needs of the European consumers in terms of safety and performance on all road surfaces, the new product completes Pirelli’s product portfolio in the Cinturato family. It represents the highest level of winter technology and it has been developed to achieve maximum safety and control in all winter conditions.

New profile and materials:

Improved dry handling and dry braking safety thanks to the square footprint area and regular pressure distribution that maximize dry grip.

Water escape accelerator:

Reduced risk of aquaplaning and increased safety in wet conditions thanks to enhanced drainage of water and mud.

Multiactive 4D sipes:

Enhanced dry/wet braking safety thanks to block stiffness, great flexibility in traction for additional snow retention.

Winter gear design:

Excellent mobility on snow also in the most severe conditions granted 1 by high level of mechanical traction on all surfaces

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Great value for money
Third car I've run on Pirelli. Consistent quality every time. Felt secure on icy morning roads.

Decent for the price
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set.

Decent for the price
Switched from a budget brand to the Cinturato Winter — the difference in braking is obvious. Holds well in snow and slush.

Does what it says
Reliable winter rubber. No surprises, which is exactly what I want. Ordered online, fitted locally. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama. Not the last word in steering feel.
