It offers excellent safety in winter conditions, with excellent braking performance on snow and an ‘A’ rating for Wet grip on the EU label. The PIRELLI NOISE CANCELLING SYSTEM™ (PNCS) ensures low noise levels and high driving comfort.
What the tyre markings mean
- XL
- Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
- M+S
- Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.

Great on the motorway
For this price I didn't expect much, but the P Zero Winter 2 genuinely surprised me. Holds well in snow and slush.

Reliable winter rubber
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.
