What the tyre markings mean
- XL
- Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
- M+S
- Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.

Decent for the price
Good winter tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair.

Nice upgrade
Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
