The Sumitomo WT 200's horizontal tread grooves with sipes is perfectly designed to pick up snow. Because snow adheres best to snow, this results in enhanced grip on snowy roads. On wet or slushy roads, the liquid can run off to the side via the transverse channels. This reduces the risk of skidding in the wet.

Confidence in corners
Second set of Sumitomo on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Does exactly what a summer tyre should. Stable and precise in summer heat. Took a few hundred km to bed in.
