The Sumitomo WT 200's horizontal tread grooves with sipes is perfectly designed to pick up snow. Because snow adheres best to snow, this results in improved grip on snowy roads. On wet or slushy roads, the liquid can run off to the side via the transverse channels. This reduces the risk of skidding in the wet.

Quiet and comfortable
Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Very pleased. Bought a full set of Sumitomo for the family car. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Better than expected
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
