Select a garageWith the new Merkep II x, SYRON TIRES has developed an all-season tyre that offers family vans and minivans the highest levels of comfort and safety in both summer and winter. The high mileage makes the MERKEP II x especially attractive for businesses.
Robust tyre design: The robust construction offers greater safety and short braking distances
More comfort: Good handling and low rolling resistance
Multifunctional sipes: Good grip on particularly slippery roads
4-rib design: Creates an even load distribution, outstanding handling and higher mileage thanks to even wear
Flexible block tread: This creates a maximum contact patch, which in turn provides high grip on bends

Fine tyre, minor niggles
Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Good balance of comfort and handling. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
Decent for the price
Good balance of comfort and handling. Would buy again. Stable and precise in summer heat. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
Confidence in corners
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch.
Great value for money
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Wet braking is excellent.
Solid summer tyre
Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Very pleased. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Stable and precise in summer heat. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
