What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Great on the motorway
A sensible buy. Not sporty, but safe and quiet.

Recommended
My mechanic recommended Toyo and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Good all-rounder
Good balance of comfort and handling. Would buy again. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch.
