Description

The new Celsius AS2 offers year-round control so you can relax and enjoy the ride. Forget about tyre changes or performance restrictions: Put on the Celsius AS2 once and experience excellent performance throughout its lifetime. Impressive stability on the highway in summer combined with exceptional safety in winter make the Celsius AS2 the ultimate all-round performer.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Solid all-season tyre
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Balanced and predictable. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.

Great on the motorway
Switched from a budget brand to the Celsius AS2 — the difference in braking is obvious. Driven about 3,000 km on these so far.

Recommended
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great.

Solid choice
Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Very pleased. Very quiet on tarmac. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Fair tyre for the money
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Had these through a full season now. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.
