Description

Less negative profile for more grip and traction
Central tread groove for improved cooling and noise control

As a summer tyre, the Proxes R 888-R is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

Toyo delivers again
Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump. Handles standing water better than my previous set. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Solid choice
Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Very reassuring.

Solid summer tyre
Second set of Toyo on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here.

Solid summer tyre
Does exactly what a summer tyre should. Happy with the purchase. Brakes hard and straight, no pulling.

Pleasantly surprised
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres.

Does what it says
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great.
