Description

The ultra high performance tire allows drivers to maximise their enjoyment of power in safety, with its precise handling and exceptional wet grip.

Optimised for high torque powertrains, Proxes Sport 2 enhances the pleasure for all sports drivers on challenging, wet or twisting roads.

Reinforced XL construction for higher load capacity
Integrated rim protection strip against kerb damage
Strong wet grip (class A)

As a summer tyre, the Proxes Sport 2 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Reliable summer rubber
A sensible buy. Not sporty, but safe and quiet. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

A step up from my old set
Does exactly what a summer tyre should. Happy with the purchase.

No complaints so far
Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Okay for everyday driving
Ride comfort is the standout. Long journeys feel less tiring now.

Strong performer
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Third car I've run on Toyo. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Worth the money
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Took a few hundred km to bed in.
