As a summer tyre, the Proxes Sport 2 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Better than expected
Switched from a budget brand to the Proxes Sport 2 — the difference in braking is obvious. Third car I've run on Toyo. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
