Description

New Snowprox S943 is suitable for a wide range of small and, medium sized family cars Offering a safe all-round winter driving experience with controlled handling on snow and a short braking distance on wet roads.

Snowprox S943 is more environment-friendly and economical, compared to the Snowprox S942 which it supercedes. By reducing rolling resistance and weight, CO2 emissions are lower.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Handles well
Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Very reassuring. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch.

Fine tyre, minor niggles
Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Very reassuring. Third car I've run on Toyo. Felt secure on icy morning roads. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Good all-rounder
My mechanic recommended Toyo and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Balanced and predictable.
