    All-round good pick

    Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Balanced and predictable. Stable and precise in summer heat. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

    Solid summer tyre

    Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Switched from a budget brand to the X Privilo S-330 — the difference in braking is obvious. Stable and precise in summer heat. Not the last word in steering feel.

    Good, not perfect

    Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres.
