What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Okay for everyday driving
For this price I didn't expect much, but the PL02 genuinely surprised me. Would recommend to anyone after a dependable summer tyre without overspending. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Second set of Triangle on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Wet braking is excellent. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
