Description

The new RainSport 5 combines best-in-class wet performance, improved mileage and superior steering control for maximum driving pleasure.

Uniroyal offers more than 45 years of rain tyre know-how for optimum performance in the wet!

Aquaplaning

Safe driving even in the most challenging wet conditions.

Be safe even on rainy days in summer. The further developed Shark Skin Technology and the wide in-block-grooves disperse water out of the tread pattern, effectively reducing the risk of aquaplaning. Moreover, the innovative Aqua-Twist sipes channels water out of the tyre, leading to increased grip on wet and slippery roads.

Cost-Saving

Extended tyre life for a long journey.

Enjoy a long journey with the new RainSport 5. A newly developed tread compound ensures low abrasion and the stiffer shoulders ensure even treadwear. The overall fine-tuned tread design provides even pressure distribution on the contact surface, which leads to a higher mileage an outstanding noise performance.

Handling

Superb control and steering response for maximum driving pleasure.

Enjoy every ride on a new level of distinctively sportiveness on dry roads. Through the stiffer base, the specially designed wide center ribs and its reinforced outside shoulder, this tyre truly provides top cornering stability, great steering response and control for maximum driving pleasure – come rain or shine.

Good all-rounder
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair.

Great on the motorway
Second set of Uniroyal on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Good tyre overall.

Smooth ride
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. They're okay. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Solid summer tyre
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
