Description

Winter offers challenges. Our expert offers a worry-free ride.

Rain, freezing rain, sleet or snow – winter comes in many forms which make driving challenging. With more than 50 years of rain tyre experience, we know exactly how to deal with wet and snowy roads. Introducing the new Uniroyal WinterExpert – the innovative tyre that handles every challenge that winter has to offer.

* The product will be available in 2021.

Rolling resistance: Profit from low fuel consumption due to fine-tuned rolling resistance.
Aquaplaning: Keep full control with excellent wet handling and aquaplaning resistance.
Snow performance: Arrive safe and relaxed thanks to great snow traction performance.

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Fair tyre for the money
Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Very pleased. Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted.

Fine tyre, minor niggles
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. Handles standing water better than my previous set.

A step up from my old set
Bought a full set of Uniroyal for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain. Second set of Uniroyal on this car.

Good all-rounder
Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump. Holds well in snow and slush.

Okay for everyday driving
The car feels more stable in crosswinds since fitting these. Holds well in snow and slush. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
