What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Reliable winter rubber
Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Better than expected
Would recommend to anyone after a dependable winter tyre without overspending. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate.

Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since. A sensible buy. Holds well in snow and slush. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
