What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Smooth ride
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Bought on price, staying for the quality.

Worth the money
Switched from a budget brand to the Road AS — the difference in braking is obvious. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Good summer tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable. Early days, but first impressions are very good. Stable and precise in summer heat.
