What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Bought on price, staying for the quality. The BluEarth-4S AW21 punches above its weight. Does exactly what a all-season tyre should. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.

Happy with the purchase
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Does the job, nothing more. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Does exactly what a all-season tyre should. Happy with the purchase. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair.
