M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Stable and precise in summer heat. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Good grip in the wet
The car feels more stable in crosswinds since fitting these. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Geolandar A/T G015 genuinely surprised me. Stable and precise in summer heat. Not the last word in steering feel.
