As a summer tyre, the Geolandar CV G058 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Very quiet on tarmac. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Impressed so far
For this price I didn't expect much, but the Geolandar CV G058 genuinely surprised me. Switched from a budget brand to the Geolandar CV G058 — the difference in braking is obvious. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
