As a summer tyre, the Geolandar X-CV G057 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Great value for money
Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Wear looks even and grip is consistent. Stable and precise in summer heat. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Stable and precise in summer heat.
