M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Strong performer
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Early days, but first impressions are very good. Stable and precise in summer heat. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
