As a summer tyre, the S.drive AS01 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Nice upgrade
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The S.drive AS01 grips well on dry roads. Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set.

Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Had these through a full season now. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Good all-rounder
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
