Snow handling: - Lateral sipes in the shoulder benefit traction when accelerating or braking - Carefully tuned compound developed to perform at low temperatures - Multi-directional sipes and grooves in the center benefit handling

Wet performance: - Excellent water evacuation results in high acquaplaning performance - Open grooves in the shoulder ensure water dispersion while cornering

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.
