Description

Ultra ARZ 5 – a summer tyre made for confident warm-season driving

Wide and large shoulder
Asymmetric tread pattern
Vertical ribs

M+S marking for mud and snow
Reinforced XL construction for higher load capacity
Strong wet grip (class B)
Quiet ride with an external rolling noise of just 69 dB

In the summer months this tyre delivers precise steering response and confident grip on dry asphalt. Wide drainage channels help resist aquaplaning when it rains.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.

Fair tyre for the money
Ride comfort is the standout. Long journeys feel less tiring now. They're okay. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Trusted Arivo quality
Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Very pleased. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Stable and precise in summer heat. Not the last word in steering feel.

Ride comfort is the standout. Long journeys feel less tiring now. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
