What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Reliable summer rubber
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great.

All-round good pick
Would recommend to anyone after a dependable summer tyre without overspending. Driven about 3,000 km on these so far.

A step up from my old set
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Early days, but first impressions are very good. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Austone delivers again
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well.
