Description

For drivers who want the best combination of performance and safety.

New tread pattern featuring 3D sipes that help the tyre warm up and optimise wet grip
New polymer tehnology and advanced mixing techniques provide better wet and dry grip, reducing rolling resistance and greater fuel efficiency
Rim flange protector helps protect alloys against kerb damage
New noise reducing feature - reduces noise from tyre/road interaction
Large circumferential grooves clear water quickly to reduce aquaplaning

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.

Good, not perfect
My mechanic recommended Avon and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

Fitted and forgotten
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Brakes hard and straight, no pulling.
