Description

Master your journey, awaken your senses. Bridgestone Potenza Sport is a high-performance tyre that enables you to maximise the full potential of your vehicle and continue on your journey in complete control.

Tread design, reinforcement & carcass

Sporty profile shape & tread compound

Rib distribution, sipes & tread compound

The rib and void distribution of the tread design evacuates water faster and relies on stiff 3D sipes to boost cornering and braking power. The optimized tread compound formula contributes to the outstanding wet grip
Asymmetrical tread design, new reinforcement technology and optimized carcass maximise stability for controlled cornering precision and increased steering response
Sporty profile shape grants stability and the innovative tread compound increases grip to deliver excellent braking performance
Shortest braking distance on a dry surface
Outsanding wet performance (EU Label Grade A)
Maintain stability in a straight line and curve

What the tyre markings mean

RFT: Run-flat technologyReinforced sidewalls can permit limited continued driving after a loss of pressure. The permitted speed and distance depend on the manufacturer; a pressure monitoring system is normally required.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

A step up from my old set
Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Early days, but first impressions are very good. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Very happy with these
Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Wear looks even and grip is consistent. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Fair tyre for the money
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Great on the motorway
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Good tyre overall. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Confidence in corners
A sensible buy. Not sporty, but safe and quiet. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in.
