Description

The Turanza T005 is designed to help keep control even under difficult driving conditions. The tyre offers first-class braking and cornering characteristics even on rainy days, combined with high mileage.

Optimised pattern design:

High volume slots in shoulder enhance water flow and optimized distribution of void in centre part of the pattern ensures water drainage in centre contact. Increased resistance to deformation thanks to connections between shoulder blocks ensuring an even contact on shoulders while braking.

Enhanced carcass:

The unique steel and stiff polyester reinforcement guarantee a superior handling and a lower rolling resistance in order to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.

New compound mixing technology:

New mixing technology improves silica dispersion in Nano Pro-tech™ high silica content compound.Synergy of pattern & compound maximises adhesion in the footprint to enhance wet grip.

Superior wear life
Excellent wet adhesion
Excellent label grades

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Impressed so far
A sensible buy. Not sporty, but safe and quiet. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Quiet and comfortable
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. My mechanic recommended Bridgestone and he was right.

Worth the money
Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Good, not perfect
Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since. Not the last word in steering feel.

Happy with the purchase
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Turanza T 005 grips well on dry roads. Good balance of comfort and handling.

All-round good pick
Second set of Bridgestone on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Not the last word in steering feel.
