Description

The Turanza T005 is designed to help keep control even under difficult driving conditions. The tyre offers first-class braking and cornering characteristics even on rainy days, combined with high mileage.

Excellent label grades
Superior wear life
Superb wet adhesion

Reinforced XL construction for higher load capacity
Integrated rim protection strip against kerb damage
Low rolling resistance for lower fuel consumption (class B)
Strong wet grip (class A)

As a summer tyre, the Turanza T 005AD is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Impressed so far
Good balance of comfort and handling. Would buy again. Switched from a budget brand to the Turanza T 005AD — the difference in braking is obvious. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Great on the motorway
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Turanza T 005AD grips well on dry roads. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Would buy again
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt.

Great on the motorway
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. Third car I've run on Bridgestone. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Quality you can feel
Bought on price, staying for the quality. The Turanza T 005AD punches above its weight.
