ContiEcoContact™ 5 – perfect for safe, fuel efficient driving.
Combining short braking distances on wet and dry roads with low rolling resistance has in the past always been considered extremely problematic. Europe's leading tyre manufacturer Continental has now launched a product which resolves this problem with apparent ease - the new ContiEcoContact 5. The tyre engineers did, however, have to tread new ground in terms of all the tire elements involved - casing, compound, tire contour and tread pattern design - in order to achieve the high level of progress.
Rolling resistance:
This state-of-the-art tyre is perfect for motorists who drive long distances.
Braking:
The design of the tyre improves grip in the wet, giving you safety when braking.
- High braking safety and short braking distances on wet roads
- Best handling on wet and dry roads
- Optimised rolling resistance for lower fuel consumption

Recommended
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped.

Braking feels secure
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Wet braking is excellent. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Worth the money
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. Comfortable over rough surfaces. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Continental delivers again
Switched from a budget brand to the EcoContact 5 — the difference in braking is obvious. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
