XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Does exactly what a summer tyre should.

Smooth ride
My mechanic recommended Continental and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
