Description

sContact – balanced summer performance for warm and wet conditions

Spare tyres are designed for temporary and limited use in the event of a flat. They are approved for speeds of up to 80 km/h.

Continental produces spare tyres in numerous dimensions and types for all of the most commonly driven vehicles, from compacts and standard-sized saloons right through to heavy off-road vehicles. Many automakers equip their vehicles with Continental spare tyres to expand the cargo area or allow room for alternative drive systems.

Better than expected
Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Very reassuring. Reliable summer rubber. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Decent for the price
Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Not the last word in steering feel.

Confidence in corners
Early days, but first impressions are very good. Smooth and quiet. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Strong performer
A sensible buy. Not sporty, but safe and quiet. Comfortable over rough surfaces. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump. Stable and precise in summer heat.
