XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Pleasantly surprised
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain. Switched from a budget brand to the SportContact 6 — the difference in braking is obvious. Stable and precise in summer heat. Took a few hundred km to bed in.
