With the new UltraContact, Continental therefore now offers a summer tyre with very high mileage and the usual safety standards. To achieve this, the tyre developers have redesigned the compound and tread to combine maximum mileage with safe driving characteristics, low rolling resistance and low noise emission.

Good tyre overall. Would have liked a bit more feedback through the steering. Good in town and on the motorway alike. Not the last word in steering feel.

For this price I didn't expect much, but the UltraContact genuinely surprised me. Switched from a budget brand to the UltraContact — the difference in braking is obvious. Stable and precise in summer heat. Not the last word in steering feel.
