VanContact™ Camper – all-season tyre for campers and motorhomes.

Security:

By reinforcing the tyre construction, the tyre is less susceptible to overload. This protection meets Camping-Pneu (CP) standards and increases safety while traveling with motorhomes under increased loads.

Handling:

The VanContact™ camper is a reliable companion when it comes to short braking distances, handling and stability on dry roads.

Braking characteristics:

The high number of vanes maximizes the length of the profile edges, resulting in increased wet road gearing and enhanced wet braking. In addition, V-shaped water drainage channels and wide transverse grooves provide enhanced protection against aquaplaning.

Particularly under wintry conditions, enlarged lamellae edges guarantee superb braking performance. Combined with the stepped shoulder groove, the VanContact™ camper delivers superb grip and handling on snowy roads.

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.
