The new WinterContact TS 850 P is intended for use in the SUV / 4x4 and passenger car segments. Passenger cars and SUVs are normally driven under the same operating conditions. For this reason, products with similar requirement profiles for passenger cars and SUVs are combined in one product line. If a tyre dimension is primarily used for SUVs, it is labelled on the sidewall.

My mechanic recommended Continental and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted.

Ride comfort is the standout. Long journeys feel less tiring now. Does the job, nothing more. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
