Description

With the Dunlop SP Sport 01, car drivers can benefit from an evolutionary leap in tyre technology: As the first large series of summer tyres from Dunlop, the new tyre for medium-sized to luxury cars rolls on an asymmetric but non-directional tread.

By dividing the tread into three clearly separated areas, the developers managed to optimise three tyre characteristics that are typical of the Dunlop brand: Sportiness, safety and smooth ride.

Enhanced grip on wet
Quiet, comfortable ride
Outstanding performance in various conditions
High speed handling

Good tyre overall. Would have liked a bit more feedback through the steering.

A step up from my old set
Second set of Dunlop on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Fitted before a long road trip.

Happy with the purchase
Good balance of comfort and handling. Would buy again. Had them fitted last month. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Fine tyre, minor niggles
Balanced and predictable. Exactly how a tyre should feel. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Fair tyre for the money
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. A sensible buy.
