What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.

Pleasantly surprised
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Impressed so far
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Sport All Season grips well on dry roads. Third car I've run on Dunlop.

Pleasantly surprised
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Balanced and predictable. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.
