Description

Next-Generation Winter Perfomance Tyre

Additional interlocking 3D sipes in the shoulder for improved block stiffness and driving stability
Up to 9% reduced tyre weight for better rolling resistance and reduced resource consumption
Miura-Ori 3D sipes provide safe braking performance and more traction on snow covered roads
Symmetrical V pattern increases water drainage up to 78 l/s (tested Size: 205/55R16) and boosts aquaplaning abilities
Advanced 4D-Nano Design Technology is used for better wet grip, reduced fuel usage and longer tyre lifespan

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Fitted and forgotten
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far.

Great value for money
Bought a full set of Falken for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain. Good winter tyre for the money. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

Would buy again
Ride comfort is the standout. Long journeys feel less tiring now. Driven about 3,000 km on these so far.

Good grip in the wet
Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump.
